Dr Ian Bishop
Dr Ian Bishop will be retiring from Penryn Surgery from Monday 6th February 2017.
Dr Bishop has been with Penryn Surgery for 17 years. We wish him all the very best in his retirement.

The year-long pilot for eConsult has now come to an end at this practice. Thank you to all of those who used eConsult and for helping us to trial the system.
Penryn Surgery continues to offer a wide range of online services including booking a face to face GP appointment and ordering medication. From 23rd February we shall also be offering Telephone consultation appointments with your GP.

NVQ 2 dispensing qualification and own transport essential, reception experience desirable.

This vacancy is a dispenser receptionist role with the successful applicant expected to work at all of our sites including Penryn, Stithians and Mawnan Smith.

Job Description Dispenser Receptionist
Experienced Business Manager – Full or Part Time Position
Previous NHS experience not essential
Taking over from our retiring manager the ideal candidate will:
- Be numerate and have basic management accounting skills
- Be able to negotiate complex contracts
- Have a basic legal knowledge
Working with, and leading the GP Partners, to manage the complex juggle of:
- Working alongside the team to continue the outstanding patient care and meeting or exceeding Care Quality Commission requirements
- The practice remains soundly viable and always meets financial targets
Chair and lead Partners meetings alongside the Practice Manager
Establish medium and long term strategies with other practices and NHS organisations
Initiate and lead high level projects within the practice and pharmacy
